Regulatory Reporting Specialist (fulltime)

Amsterdam is Credit Europe Bank’s global headquarters and is the center from where trade and commodity finance, project finance, marine finance and banking relations are offered to customers all over the world. Next to our HQ in the Netherlands, we have offices in Germany, Malta, Switzerland, UAE, the Ukraine, Romania and Turkey. We have around 275 employees in NL and 75% of our colleagues are from abroad.

For our Group Risk Management department in Amsterdam we are looking for a

Regulatory Reporting Specialist (fulltime)

Key responsibilities

  • Is always up to date about the market developments and regulatory updates and if necessary informs the direct superior about the possible effects.
  • Part of the regulatory reporting team driving the preparation of the overall COREP and FINREP reporting sets
  • Ensures that the regulatory reports reconcile with Financial Control figures (i.e., FINREP) and they are in line with management information.
  • Prepares the Bank’s solvency and credit risk-related public disclosures under IFRS requirements
  • Maintains a profound view over the Bank’s credit risk data warehouse and cooperate with data managers to ensure data integrity
  • Dealing with the business queries regarding large exposures and other credit risk concentrations.
  • Participates in the production of credit risk-related management information reports (i.e., Audit & Risk Committee package)
  • Prepares all type of credit risk-related bespoke reporting requirement coming from the Management or the external stakeholders (i.e., rating agencies, lenders, etc.)
  • Has very good understanding of the credit-risk related Supervisory Board reports, with particular focus on asset quality, loan classification and concentrations

Qualifications & Experience

Required (incl. technical if applicable)

  • BA / BSc in Economics, Econometrics, Engineering
  • MA / MSc in Economics, Finance or similar fields
  • Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail
  • Assertive and excellent communication and inter personal skills
  • Self-motivated driver of performance
  • Time management skills to meet required deadlines
  • Proficient in both verbal as written English
  • Experience with MS Office and relevant banking systems

Preferred (incl. technical if applicable)

  • Knowledge Of Excel and MS SQL
  • Solid (at least 3 years) working experience in a similar position
